In the first place, I must tell you that I am under no illusions —the situation in Rome is very grave, very grave. Let me sum up the whole situation as it took place at the Council and such as, unfortunately, it still exists even today, by saying that there were, in fact, three betrayals of the Church. Holy Church was betrayed in three ways in a very direct and concrete fashion. The first betrayal was the betrayal with the Freemason, the second with the Protestants, and the third was the betrayal with the Communists.
There was an understanding before the Council and during the Council through men commissioned by the Church who were the instruments of these betrayals, namely, the Secretariat for the Unity of Christians, which was specially created for that, directed by Cardinal Bea with, as Vice President, Mgr*. de Smedt, Bishop of Bruges, and with, as Secretary, Mgr. Willebrands, who became Cardinal of Holland. These were the personalities who were the instruments of betrayal. There were direct contacts precisely between Cardinal Bea and the Masonic Lodge here in New York and in Washington, with the B'nai-Brith, the Jewish Lodge numbering 75,000 members, and with the lodges of the whole world. …
Why did these contacts take place? Why did Cardinal Bea come in the name of the Vatican, in the name of Rome, to meet these Freemasons? In order that we would accept the "rights of man" at the Council. How could we accept them? By accepting Religious Liberty, which is one of the "rights of man." Hence, to accept Religious Liberty was in principle to accept the "rights of man" within the Church. Now, the Church has always condemned these declarations on the "rights of man" which have been made against the authority of God.
The second betrayal was the betrayal with the Protestants. It is Mgr. Willebrands who was entrusted in particular with the fostering of relations with the Ecumenical Council of Churches in Geneva. He went to Geneva to make peace with the Protestants, and the Protestants said to him, we can make peace with you, we can all unite and work together, but you must remove everything in the liturgy of the Church and in the concept of the Church which does not agree with Protestant principles. Hence, the whole liturgy and the whole structure of the Church was to be modified and there was to be a new Canon Law to establish this new structure of the Church and to put it into practice, a democratic structure. This is what was then accomplished by Mgr. Willebrands.
The third betrayal was through Mgr. Willebrands also, and Cardinal Bea, through their meeting with delegates of Moscow at Constantinople and also in Greece, with representatives of the Orthodox Church, the Patriarch Pimen of the Orthodox Church delegated by Moscow. What had to be done in order to please the Communists? The Communists required that there should be no condemnation of Communism at the Council, firstly; secondly, that all the bishops opposed to the Communist regime should be dismissed and replaced by collaborating bishops. Well, these various requirements: Religious Liberty required by the Freemasons, the changing of the whole interior and the Constitutions and the liturgy of the Church by the Protestants; the non-condemnation of Communism and the changing of the bishops by the Communists —all this was agreed to and granted by the Church. The Church said yes, that's all right, we accept Religious Liberty, and it was Mgr. deSmedt, the Vice President of the Secretariat for Christian Unity, who was the reporter at the Council for the schema on Religious Liberty, together with Cardinal Bea, who was behind him and who supported him. Five times there was an attempt to refuse this schema, five times they brought it back, and finally they succeeded in having Religious Liberty passed.

St. Athanasius Contra Mundum (Against the World) was the fighter against the form of what can be called the Ecumenism of his day, Arianism. He stressed the simple Truth of Christ.

CHAPTER 6 REFUTATION OF THE JEWS
§ 33
WE have dealt thus far with the Incarnation of our Saviour, and have found clear proof of the resurrection of His Body and His victory over death. Let us now go further and investigate the unbelief and the ridicule with which Jews and Gentiles respectively regard these same facts. It seems that in both cases the points at issue are the same, namely the unfittingness or incongruity (as it seems to them) alike of the cross and of the Word's becoming man at all. But we have no hesitation in taking up the argument against these objectors, for the proofs on our side are extremely clear.
First, then, we will consider the Jews. Their unbelief has its refutation in the Scriptures which even themselves read; for from cover to cover the inspired Book clearly teaches these things both in its entirety and in its actual words. Prophets foretold the marvel of the Virgin and of the Birth from her, saying, "Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which means God is with us." (Isaiah 7. 14) And Moses, that truly great one in whose word the Jews trust so implicitly, he also recognised the importance and truth of the matter. He puts it thus : "There shall arise a star from Jacob and a man from Israel, and he shall break in pieces the rulers of Moab." (Numbers 24. 17) And, again, "How lovely are thy dwellings, 0 Jacob, thy tents, 0 Israel ! Like woodland valleys they give shade, and like parks by rivers, like tents which the Lord has pitched, like cedar-trees by streams. There shall come forth a Man from among his seed, and he shall rule over many peoples." (Numbers 24. 5-7) And, again, Isaiah says, "Before the Babe shall be old enough to call father or mother, he shall take the power of Damascus and the spoils of Samaria from under the eyes of the king of Assyria." (Isaiah 8. 4) These words, then, foretell that a Man shall appear. And Scripture proclaims further that He that is to come is Lord of all. These are the words, " Behold, the Lord sitteth on an airy cloud and shall come into Egypt, and the man-made images of Egypt shall be shaken." (Isaiah 19. 1) And it is from Egypt also that the Father calls him back, saying, "Out of Egypt have I called My Son." (Hosea 11. 1)

Moreover, the Scriptures are not silent even about His death. On the contrary, they refer to it with the utmost clearness. They have not feared to speak also of the cause of it. He endures it, they say, not for His own sake, but for the sake of bringing immortality and salvation to all, and they record also the plotting of the Jews against Him and all the indignities which He suffered at their hands. Certainly nobody who reads the Scriptures can plead ignorance of the facts as an excuse for error! There is this passage, for instance: "A man that is afflicted and knows how to bear weakness, for His face is turned away. He was dishonoured and not considered, 'He bears our sins and suffers for 'our sakes. And we for our part thought Him distressed and afflicted and ill-used ; but it was for our sins that He was wounded and for our lawlessness that He was made weak. Chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His bruising we are healed." (Isaiah 53. 3-5) 0 marvel at the love of the Word for men, for it is on our account that He is dishonoured, so that we may be brought to honour. "For all we," it goes on, "have strayed like sheep, man has strayed from his path, and the Lord has given Him up for our sins; and He Himself did not open His mouth at the ill-treatment. Like a sheep He was led to slaughter, and as a lamb is dumb before its shearer, so He opened not His mouth; in His humiliation His judgment was taken away." (Isaiah 53. 6-8) And then Scripture anticipates the surmises of any who might think from His suffering thus that He was just an ordinary man, and shows what power worked in His behalf. "Who shall declare of what lineage He comes?" it says, "for His life is exalted from the earth. By -the lawlessnesses of the people was He brought to death, and I will give the wicked in return for His burial and the rich in return for His death. For He did no lawlessness, neither was deceit found in His mouth. And the Lord wills to heal Him of His affliction." (Isaiah 53. 8-10)

You have heard the prophecy of His death, and now, perhaps, you want to know what indications there are about the cross. Even this is not passed over in silence on the contrary, the sacred writers proclaim it with the utmost plainness. Moses foretells it first, and that right loudly, when he says, "You shall see your Life hanging before your eyes, and shall not believe." (Deut. 28. 66) After him the prophets also give their witness, saying, " But I as an innocent lamb brought to be offered was yet ignorant of it. They plotted evil against Me, saying, `Come, let us cast wood into His bread, and wipe Him out from the land of the living." (Jer. 11. 19) And, again, "They pierced My hands and My feet, they counted all My bones, they divided My garments for themselves and cast lots for My clothing." (Psalm 22. 16-18) Now a death lifted up and that takes place on wood can be none other than the death of the cross ; moreover, it is only in that death that the hands and feet are pierced. Besides this, since the Saviour dwelt among men, all nations everywhere have begun to know God; and this too Holy Writ expressly mentions. "There shall be the Root of Jesse," it says, "and he who rises up to rule the nations, on Him nations shall set their hope." (Isaiah 11. 10)
These are just a few things in proof of what has taken place; but indeed all Scripture teems with disproof of Jewish unbelief. For example, which of the righteous men and holy prophets and patriarchs of whom the Divine Scriptures tell ever had his bodily birth from a virgin only? Was not Abel born of Adam, Enoch of Jared, Noah of Lamech, Abraham of Terah, Isaac of Abraham, and Jacob of Isaac? Was not Judah begotten by Jacob and Moses and Aaron by Ameram ? Was not Samuel the son of Elkanah, David of Jesse, Solomon of David, Hezekiah of Ahaz, Josiah of Amon, Isaiah of Amos, Jeremiah of Hilkiah and Ezekiel of Buzi ? Had not each of these a father as author of his being? So who is He that is born of a virgin only, that sign of which the prophet makes so much? Again, which of all those people had his birth announced to the world by a star in the heavens? When Moses was born his parents hid him. David was unknown even in his own neighbourhood, so that mighty
Samuel himself was ignorant of his existence and asked whether Jesse had yet another son. Abraham again became known to his neighbours as a great man only after his birth. But with Christ it was otherwise. The witness to His birth was not man, but a star shining in the heavens whence He was coming down.
§ 36
Then, again, what king that ever was reigned and took trophies from his enemies before he had strength to call father or mother? Was not David thirty years old when he came to the throne and Solomon a grown young man? Did not Joash enter on his reign at the age of seven, and Josiah, some time after him, at about the same age, both of them fully able by that time to call father or mother? Who is there, then, that was reigning and despoiling his enemies almost before he was born? Let the Jews, who have investigated the matter, tell us if there was ever such a king in Israel or Judah-a king upon whom all the nations set their hopes and had peace, instead of being at enmity with him on every side! As long as Jerusalem stood there was constant war between them, and they all fought against Israel. The Assyrians oppressed Israel, the Egyptians persecuted them, the Babylonians fell upon them, and, strange to relate, even the Syrians their neighbours were at war with them. And did not David fight with Moab and smite the Syrians, and Hezekiah quail at the boasting of Sennacherib ? Did not Amalek make war on Moses and the Amorites oppose him, and did not the inhabitants of Jericho array themselves against Joshua the son of Nun? Did not the nations always regard Israel with implacable hostility? Then it is worth enquiring who it is, on whom the nations are to set their hopes. Obviously there must be someone, for the prophet could not have told a lie. But did any of the holy prophets or of the early patriarchs die on the cross for the salvation of all? Was any of them wounded and killed for the healing of all? Did the idols of Egypt fall down before any righteous man or king that came there? Abraham came there certainly, but idolatry prevailed just the same ; and Moses was born there, but the mistaken worship was unchanged.
§ 37
Again, does Scripture tell of anyone who was pierced in hands and feet or hung upon a tree at all, and by means of a cross perfected his sacrifice. for the salvation of all? It was not Abraham, for he died in his bed, as did also Isaac and Jacob. Moses and Aaron died in the mountain, and David ended his days in his house, without anybody having plotted against him. Certainly he had been sought by Saul, but he was preserved unharmed. Again Isaiah was sawn asunder, but he was not hung on a tree. Jeremiah was shamefully used, but he did not die under condemnation. Ezekiel suffered, but he did so, not on behalf of the people, but only to signify to them what was going to happen. Moreover, all these even when they suffered were but men, like other men; but He Whom the Scriptures declare to suffer on behalf of all is called not merely man but Life of all, although in point of fact He did share our human nature. " You shall see your Life hanging before your eyes," they say, and "Who shall declare of what lineage He comes?" With all the saints we can trace their descent from the beginning, and see exactly how each came to be; but the Divine Word maintains that we cannot declare the lineage of Him Who is the Life. Who is it, then, of Whom Holy Writ thus speaks? Who is there so great that even the prophets foretell of Him such mighty things? There is indeed no one in the Scriptures at all, save the common Saviour of all, the Word of God, our Lord Jesus Christ. He it is that proceeded from a virgin, and appeared as man on earth, He it is Whose earthly lineage cannot be declared, because He alone derives His body from no human father, but from a virgin alone. We can trace the paternal descent of David and Moses and of all the patriarchs. But with the Saviour we cannot do so, for it was He Himself Who caused the star to announce His bodily birth, and it was fitting that the Word, when He came down from heaven, should have His sign in heaven too, and fitting that the King of creation on His coming forth should be visibly recognised by all the world. He was actually born in Judaea, yet men from Persia came to worship Him. He it is Who won victory from His daemon foes and trophies from the idolaters even before His bodily appearing-namely, all the heathen who from every region have abjured the tradition of their fathers and the false worship of idols and are now placing their hope in Christ and transferring their allegiance to Him. The thing is happening before our very eyes, here in Egypt; and thereby another prophecy is fulfilled, for at no other time have the Egyptians ceased from their false worship save when the Lord of all, riding as on a cloud, came down here in the body and brought the error of idols to nothing and won over everybody to Himself and through Himself to the Father. He it is Who was crucified with the sun and moon as witnesses; and by His death salvation has come to all men, and all creation has been redeemed. He is the Life of all, and He it is Who like a sheep gave up His own body to death, His life for ours and our salvation.
§ 38
Yet the Jews disbelieve this. This argument does not satisfy them. Well, then, let them be persuaded by other things in their own oracles. Of whom, for instance, do the prophets say " I was made manifest to those who did not seek Me, I was found by those who had not asked for Me? I said, `See, here am I,' to the nation that had not called upon My Name. I stretched out My hands to a disobedient and gainsaying people." (Isaiah 65. 1 ,2) Who is this person that was made manifest, one might ask the Jews? If the prophet is speaking of himself, then they must tell us how he was first hidden, in order to be manifested afterwards. And, again, what kind of man is this prophet, who was not only revealed after being hidden, but also stretched out his hands upon the cross? Those things happened to none of those righteous men : they happened only to the Word of God Who, being by nature without body, on our account appeared in a body and suffered for us all. And if even this is not enough for them, there is other overwhelming evidence by which they may be silenced. The Scripture says, "Be strong, hands that hang down and feeble knees, take courage, you of little faith, be strong and do not fear. See, our God will recompense judgment, He Himself will come and save us. Then the eyes of blind men shall be opened and the ears of deaf men shall hear, and stammerers shall speak distinctly." (Isaiah 35. 3-6) What can they say to this, or how can they look it in the face at all? For the prophecy does not only declare that God will dwell here, it also makes known the signs and the time of His coming. When God comes, it says, the blind will see, the lame will walk, the deaf will hear and the stammerers will speak distinctly. Can the Jews tell us when such signs occurred in Israel, or when anything of the kind took place at all in Jewry? The leper Naaman was cleansed, it is true, but no deaf man heard nor did any lame man walk. Elijah raised a dead person and so did Elisha; but no one blind from birth received his sight. To raise a dead person is a great thing indeed, but it is not such as the Saviour did. And surely, since the Scriptures have not kept silence about the f leper and the dead son of the widow, if a lame man had walked and a blind man had received his sight, they would have mentioned these as well. Their silence on these points proves that the events never took place. When therefore did these things happen, unless when the Word of God Himself came in the body? Was it not when He came that lame men walked and stammerers spoke clearly and men blind from birth were given sight? And the Jews who saw it themselves testified to the fact that such things had never before occurred. " Since the world began," they said, "it has never been heard of that anyone should open the eyes of a man born blind. If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing." (John 9. 32,33)
§ 39
But surely they cannot fight against plain facts. So it may be that, without denying what is written, they will maintain that they are still waiting for these things to happen, and that the Word of God is yet to come, for that is a theme on which they are always harping most brazenly, in spite of all the evidence against them. But they shall be refuted on this supreme point more clearly than on any, and that not by ourselves but by the most wise Daniel, for he signifies the actual date of the Saviour's coming as well as His Divine sojourn in our midst. "Seventy weeks," he says, "are cut short upon thy people and upon the holy city, to make a complete end of sin and for sins to be sealed up and iniquities blotted out, and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to seal vision and prophet, and to anoint a Holy One of holies. And thou shalt know and understand from the going forth of the Word to answer, ("Answer" is LXX misreading for Hebrew "restore.") and to build Jerusalem, until Christ the Prince." (Daniel 9. 24, 25) In regard to the other prophecies, they may possibly be able to find excuses for deferring their reference to a future time, but what can they say to this one? How can they face it at all? Not only does it expressly mention the Anointed One, that is the Christ, it even declares that He Who is to be anointed is not man only, but the Holy One of holies ! And it says that Jerusalem is to stand till His coming, and that after it prophet and vision shall cease in Israel ! David was anointed of old, and Solomon, and Hezekiah; but then Jerusalem and the place stood, and prophets were prophesying, Gad and Asaph and Nathan, and later Isaiah and Hosea and Amos and others. Moreover, those men who were anointed were called holy certainly, but none of them was called the Holy of holies. Nor is it any use for the Jews to take refuge in the Captivity, and say that Jerusalem did not exist then, for what about the prophets? It is a fact that at the outset of the Exile Daniel and Jeremiah were there, and Ezekiel and Haggai and Zechariah also prophesied.
§ 40
So the Jews are indulging in fiction, and transferring present time to future. When did prophet and vision cease from Israel? Was it not when Christ came, the Holy One of holies ? It is, in fact, a sign and notable proof of the coming of the Word that Jerusalem no longer stands, neither is prophet raised up nor vision revealed among them. And it is natural that it should be so, for when He that was signified had come, what need was there any longer of any to signify Him? And when the Truth had come, what further need was there of the shadow? On His account only they prophesied continually, until such time as Essential Righteousness has come, Who was made the Ransom for the sins of all. For the same reason Jerusalem stood until the same time, in order that there men might premeditate the types before the Truth was known. So, of course, once the Holy One of holies had come, both vision and prophecy were sealed. And the kingdom of Jerusalem ceased at the same time, because kings were to be anointed among them only until the Holy of holies had been anointed. Moses also prophesies that the kingdom of the Jews shall stand until His time, saying, "A ruler shall not fail from Judah nor a prince from his loins, until the things laid up for him shall come and the Expectation of the nations Himself." (Gen. 49. 10) And that is why the Saviour Himself was always proclaiming "The law and the prophets prophesied until John." (Matt. 11. 13) So if there is still king or prophet or vision among the Jews, they do well to deny that Christ is come ; but if there is neither king nor vision, and since that time all prophecy has been sealed and city and temple taken, how can they be so irreligious, how can they so flaunt the facts, as to deny Christ Who has brought it all about? Again, they see the heathen forsaking idols and setting their, hopes through Christ on the God of Israel; why do they yet deny Christ Who after the flesh was born of the root of Jesse and reigns henceforward? Of course, if the heathen were worshipping some other god, and not confessing the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and Moses, then they would do well to argue that God had not come. But if the heathen are honouring the same God Who gave the law to Moses and the promises to Abraham-the God Whose word too the Jews dishonoured, why do they not recognise or rather why do they deliberately refuse to see that the Lord of Whom the Scriptures prophesied has shone forth to the world and appeared to it in a bodily form? Scripture declares it repeatedly. "The Lord God has appeared to us," (Psalm 118. 27) and again, "He sent forth His Word and healed them." (Psalm 107. 20) And again, "It was no ambassador, no angel who saved us, but the Lord Himself." (Isaiah 63. 9) The Jews are afflicted like some demented person who sees the earth lit up by the sun, but denies the sun that lights it up! What more is there for their Expected One to do when he comes? To call the heathen? But they are called already. To put an end to prophet and king and vision? But this too has already happened. To expose the God-denyingness of idols ? It is already exposed and condemned. Or to destroy death? It is already destroyed. What then has not come to pass that the Christ must do? What is there left out or unfulfilled that the Jews should disbelieve so light-heartedly? The plain fact is, as I say, that there is no longer any, king or prophet nor Jerusalem nor sacrifice nor vision among them; yet the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of God, and the Gentiles, forsaking atheism, are now taking refuge with the God of Abraham through the Word, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Surely, then, it must be plain even to the most shameless that the Christ has come, and that He has enlightened all men everywhere, and given them the true and divine teaching about His Father.

On the occasion of the Feast of the Cross according to the Coptic calendar (September 27)
THE SIGN OF THE CROSS
Alexander Solzhenitsyn, the Russian author who spent many years in the gulag of Siberia, bears witness to the power of the cross. After long suffering in the work camp of Siberia, he fell into despair. Like other prisoners, he had worked in the fields day after day, in rain and sun, during summer and winter. His days were filled with backbreaking labour and slow starvation. On a particular day, the hopelessness of his situation became too much. He saw no reason to continue living, to continue fighting the system. He thought that the rest of his life was meaningless since he would most likely die in this Siberian prison. His life made no difference in the world. So he gave up. Laying his shovel on the ground, he slowly walked to a crude work-site bench and sat down. He knew that at any moment a guard would order him to stand up, and when he failed to respond, the guard would beat him to death, probably with his own shovel. He had seen it happen to many other prisoners. As he waited, head down, he felt a presence. Slowly, he lifted his eyes and saw a skinny, old prisoner squat down next to him. The man said nothing. Instead, he drew a stick through the ground at Solzhenitsyn's feet, tracing the sign of the Cross. The man then got back up and returned to his work. As Solzhenitsyn stared at the sign of the Cross, his entire perspective changed. He knew that he was only one man against the all-powerful Soviet empire. Yet in that moment, he knew that there was something greater than the evil that he saw in the prison, something greater than the Soviet Union. He knew that the hope of all mankind was represented in that simple Cross. And through the power of the Cross, anything was possible. Solzhenitsyn slowly got up, picked up his shovel, and went back to work. Nothing outward had changed, but inside, he received hope. Whenever you see a Cross, what do you think of? In ancient times, people would have thought about pain, suffering, and death. The Cross was a sign of the worst torture one could suffer. It was a cursed sign. And yet, when Jesus willingly accepted the Cross, when he willingly accepted to die a criminal's death, when he willingly accepted to be ridiculed, hated, and killed, he changed the Cross from a symbol of death and despair into a symbol of life and hope. Why do we Christians place the Cross in our Church, in our homes, in our cars? Why do we continually make the sign of the Cross, and wear a Cross around our neck? Because for Christians, the Cross has become a symbol of Love, Joy, Hope, Power and Victory. First of all, the Cross reminds us of God's Love. St. John the Evangelist tells us, "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him will not perish but will have eternal life." (John 3:16) What greater love is there than to lay down your life for others? The Cross reminds us of Joy, the joy of paradise. Many hymns of our church recall how Adam and Eve were sent out of paradise because of a tree. They ate fruit from the forbidden tree. And yet it is also a tree that has opened the doors of paradise once again for all believers, the tree of the Cross. The Cross reminds us of Hope, a hope that is greater than the darkest despair. When Jesus was crucified, his disciples and followers all despaired. They had abandoned Jesus. They had betrayed him. They had denied him. They had placed all their hope in him, and now he was dead. For three days they lived in complete despair. And yet, after the resurrection, they understood the Cross in a new way. It was no longer a symbol of despair, but it was now a sign of hope for all people, a hope for new life. The Cross is a symbol of power. Often in the world, it seems that evil conquers good and that sin is stronger than virtue. Yet the Cross reminds us that sin will not have the last say. Evil will not last forever. The Cross reminds us of the resurrection. Evil and suffering appear to win, but then comes the resurrection. In Albania, the evil that abounds seems great, but be assured, the evil will not last. The resurrection is coming. The 45 years of communism and atheism did not conquer Albania. In the end, God prevailed and now we are in this church worshipping God, while Hoxha lies in the ground. The chaos of today will not last. God will have the last say. Finally, the Cross is a symbol of Victory. Through the death of Jesus on the Cross, the greatest evil, death itself, was destroyed. Before the Cross, the devil thought that death was his greatest weapon. All who died would enter his dark kingdom. And yet, when Jesus went to hell, the devil trembled. The Cross, which had been a tool of evil, became a power of death for hell itself. One of the morning hymns describes the devil trembling when he sees Christ himself enter into Hades and cries out, "My spirit trembles, and now I must cast out Adam and his posterity. A tree brought them to my realm, but now the tree of the Cross brings them back again to paradise." In the end, Satan no longer has power over us. He can no longer keep man captive in hell for all eternity. The Cross is our reminder of that victory. It is the reminder of the power that all of us possess. "Death has been swallowed up in victory! Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" (I Cor 15:54) During these dark days of Worlds history, we must not forget the meaning of the Cross. Although events and logic tell us to despair, the Cross says something else -- to hope. In the end, the Cross will prevail.

Obviously consulting the full consensus of the Church Fathers on any given topic is the proper way for Catholics to understand doctrine. The below is an example of one of the early Church Fathers (an Apostolic Father) in his martyrdom. There are four marks which distinguish a Church Father (according to the 1950 Catholic Dictionary) which are Antiquity, Orthodoxy of Doctrine, Sanctity of Life and Catholicity. St. Polycarp fulfilled all of these and the Church has never forgotten him. According to one scholarly view he is the angel of the Church of Smyrna in the Apocalypse. Rv:2:8: 8 ¶ And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead and is alive: 9 I know thy tribulation and thy poverty: but thou art rich. And thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death: and I will give thee the crown of life. 11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that shall overcome shall not be hurt by the second death. It is definitely true that St. John the Apostle and Evangelist taught St. Polycarp who then in turn taught St. Irenaeus (as Fr. Alban Butler relates to us). St. Irenaeus took on the monumental task of refuting the Gnostics and is remembered as totally vindicated in his doctrine and defense of the faith. Nowadays there is a lot of gnostic psuedo-doctrine come back to plague the faithful.

Chapter XII.-Polycarp is Sentenced to Be Burned.
While he spoke these and many other like things, he was filled with confidence and joy, and his countenance was full of grace, so that not merely did it not fall as if troubled by the things said to him, but, on the contrary, the proconsul was astonished, and sent his herald to proclaim in the midst of the stadium thrice, "Polycarp has confessed that he is a Christian." This proclamation having been made by the herald, the whole multitude both of the heathen and Jews, who dwelt at Smyrna, cried out with uncontrollable fury, and in a loud voice, "This is the teacher of Asia, the father of the Christians, and the overthrower of our gods, he who has been teaching many not to sacrifice, or to worship the gods." Speaking thus, they cried out, and besought Philip the Asiarch to let loose a lion upon Polycarp. But Philip answered that it was not lawful for him to do so, seeing the shows of wild beasts were already finished. Then it seemed good to them to cry out with one consent, that Polycarp should be burnt alive. For thus it behooved the vision which was revealed to him in regard to his pillow to be fulfilled, when, seeing it on fire as he was praying, he turned about and said prophetically to the faithful that were with him, "I must be burnt alive."

THE JEWISH “FIFTH COLUMN” IN THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH
Before Jewry took root in Russia, the Jews had become powerful in the Ukraine. Their revolutionary activity was suppressed, and the consequence of this was that many of them were apparently converted to the Christianity of the Greek-Orthodox and later to the Russian-Orthodox Church. As with Catholicism, they were also in these churches the spreaders of the heretical-revolutionary movements.
Concerning one of these revolutionary organisations which shattered the Russian church and Christianity, the “He-brew Encyclopaedia” studied by us reports the official work of Jewry. The sect was spread by the Passagii. In the Encyclopaedia it is stated literally: “The concealed Jewish nucleus of the Passagii revealed itself in the development of its doctrine with the ‘Shidovstvuyushtchiye’ (Judaizers) in Russia in the 15th century. This sect, whose first apostle was the Jew Shkariya of Kiev who even won over the princes and the highest clergy of Moscow, believed that Christ had still not come, and, if he came, then not as son of God, as essence, but through his good deeds like Moses and the Prophets’.”289
As one can see, this sect first spread itself in the Catholic world and was then introduced by a Jew into the Russian-Orthodox Church. Other sects, on the other hand, such as those of the Cathars, arose apparently in the Byzantine Empire and were later spread in Christianity. How serious this crisis was, can be recognised from an assertion of the Jews in their Encyclopaedia mentioned, where it is stated that the heresy provoked by a Jew in the middle of the 15th century, i.e. approximately five hundred years ago, gained to its side the greatest part of the orthodox clergy of Moscow. Also under the word Rusia (Russia) in Volume IX of the “Jewish-Spanish Encyclopaedia” this powerful heretical movement is mentioned, and it is asserted that the Church “attributed it directly to the influence of Jewish preachers”, and other sources see a connection between it with the sects of the Sabbatarians which were very widespread in south and east Europe during the time of the Reformation, and concerning which the Jewish Encyclopaedia affirms that they had “unquestionable nexuses with Judaism”. Accordingly this monumental work of the Synagogue quotes the opinion of Dubnovs: “At the same time there arose in Moscow, as result of secret Jewish propaganda, a religious movement, which is described as Jewish heresy. According to Russian chronicles, its founder was the learned Jew Sjaria (Zejarya), who, together with several fellow believers, emigrated from Kiev to the old Russian city of Novgorod. During the religious unrest then prevailing in Novgorod, the new sect of the Strigolniki (named after their founder Carp Strigolnik) had come into existence in this city, who announced the lifting of the Christian rites and did not recognise Christ as God. Zejarya approached various representatives of the orthodox clergy and was able to convert them to Judaism. The leaders of the rebels of Novgorod, the priests Denis and Alexei, went in 1490 to Moscow and there converted a great number of Greek-Orthodox believers. Some of them even had themselves circumcised. The Jewish heresy soon took firm root among the Moscow nobility and in court circles. To their adherents belonged also Helene, the daughter-in-law of the Grand Prince.
“The Bishop of Novgorod Henadio declared the spreading of the Jewish sects to be dangerous and made courageous efforts to root them out in his diocese. In Moscow the struggle against the new doctrine was exceedingly difficult. However, there also it succeeded in finally blocking their further progress thanks to the vigorous efforts of Henadio and other righteous stalwarts. Upon decision of the Church Council of 1504, and upon command of Ivan III, the chief rebels were burned alive and their supporters taken prisoner or concealed in monasteries. Through these measures the Jewish heresy was destroyed.”
And the quoted Jewish Encyclopaedia closes with the following interesting commentary: “However, the Jewish tendencies did not completely die out in the Russian people and occasionally made themselves perceptible centuries later in a way and manner which disturbed the imperial government.”290
The Jewish “Fifth Column” in the Russian-Orthodox Church later gained in strength through the following mock conversions of the Jews to Christianity. In the 17th century apparently many Jews were converted to Christianity and pretended to be good Christians. But in their innermost heart they remained secret Jews and hated the Russian tradition. These secret Jews were known in Jewish circles by the name Shobatnik. Several studies were made of them. Chachem Joseph Israel Benjamin, the famed Jewish leader, compiled, for example, the historic data about the Shobatnik and published it in Tiemsan, Algeria, under the title “Four Years War of the Poles against the Russians and Tartars, 1648-1652.” The Czar Nicholas 1 attempted to solve the Jewish problem, but made the tragic error of compelling the Jews to be converted to Christianity. The catastrophic result was an enormous number of mock-conversions. The Jews displayed in public a dishonest Christianity, while in secret they were as Jewish as before and had their sons ordained as priests, infiltrating them into the hierarchy of the Orthodox clergy, just as their crypto-Jewish brothers had done in the Catholic and Protestant clergy.
One must, however, recognise that the Czars, the Orthodox Church and the Russian people in equal degree violently opposed the Jews penetrating into Russia. Although the latter at first came in great masses, especially at the time when Russia conquered a great part of Poland, the Orthodox Church, the state and the people continued to fight heroically against the Jewish communities, which became as numerous as no others in the world. With the aid of international Jewry the Jews were finally successful in triumphing at first in the March revolution of 1917 and later in the Bolshevist October revolution. The help of the Jewish “Fifth Column” in the Russian Orthodox Church was thereby decisive. It would otherwise have been impossible for such a weak Communist party, which in a land with a total population of a hundred million inhabitants had only a few thousand supporters, to triumph so easily and quickly. It triumphed because the members of the Jewish “Fifth Column” possessed the key positions of the parties of the Right, of the Centre and of the extreme Left, sabotaged the defence of traditional Russia and with evil-willed intrigues destroyed and brought into discredit those who could have saved the country. At the decisive moment the Jew Kerensky and his accomplices handed over power to a band of Jewish criminals, who tyrannised the Russian people from then onwards.
As soon as the Jewish band under Lenin imposed their bloody dictatorship in Russia, it had archbishops, bishops, priests and clergy of all ranks who held firm to their faith, murdered and replaced them with Jews in the Soutane, as intellectuals who have fled from the lands ruled by the beast have informed the free world. These Jewish Communists in priestly garb (in the sequel to this work we will prove, that they do in fact exist) snatched to themselves the patriarchate and the Bishoprics of the heroic old Russian-Orthodox Church. Although the latter favoured the schism of Constantinople to the harm of our Catholics, it must nevertheless be recognised that it fought bitterly to preserve the nation from falling into the hands of the “Synagogue of Satan”. However, we are convinced that God will allow His Holy Church to continue to exist and will once again cause the rancours of the dragon of Hell and its synagogue to fail. At the Council a new Athanasius, Ambrose, John Chrysostom or St. Bernard will appear and at a critical moment cause the failure of the dark plans of Jewish Communism and its “Fifth Column” in the clergy, even if they believe they already have the Council under their control and break out into a cry of jubilation. They claim to be able to cause the Council to approve reforms which would finally ruin the Church and would allow international Communism to triumph.

The Communists know how to negotiate and in exchange for a few gestures, which shows good will, to obtain in exchange the destruction of the Church defence against Marxism and to attain that a peaceful coexistence is made possible, which shall only occasion Holy Church to no longer fight against atheistic Communism, so that the latter can more easily rule the world. For relatively insignificant concessions they wish to attain essential advantages, which secure to them the victory over the free world. Why do they not abolish the atheistic materialism of Communism if they really wish to conclude peace with Holy Church? Why do they not release the Catholic Poles and Czechoslovakia from slavery, withdraw Soviet troops from these lands and allow free elections? Why do they not do the same with the remaining Christian nations which they have subjected? Why do they not abandon the anti-Christian and anti-religious propaganda which takes their faith from the true Christians? But they wish that the hands and feet of the Church are bound in practice and that the “Red Beast” is able to gradually consume the whole world. In exchange they make a few gestures which show apparent good will but stand in no relation to the concessions which they demand. A learned Rumanian academician, who fled to the west from the Communist tyranny, gives us a valuable report about the present position of the Russian-Orthodox Church, which we reproduce below.

This representation of facts, which we have taken from the work “The Great Jewish Conspiracy” of the Rumanian academician Traian Romanescu, brings before our eyes how the Jews at first murdered the true Christian Bishops in masses, in order then to hand over manu militari the direction of the Russian-Orthodox Church to the “Jewish Fifth Column.” It is thus not remarkable that the members of the “Fifth Column” in the Catholic clergy can easily come to an agreement with their secret Jewish brothers in the Orthodox clergy. Also under the word Rusia (Russia) in Volume IX of the “Jewish-Spanish Encyclopaedia” this powerful heretical movement is mentioned, and it is asserted that the Church “attributed it directly to the influence of Jewish preachers”, and other sources see a connection between it with the sects of the Sabbatarians which were very widespread in south and east Europe during the time of the Reformation, and concerning which the Jewish Encyclopaedia affirms that they had “unquestionable nexuses with Judaism”. Accordingly this monumental work of the Synagogue quotes the opinion of Dubnovs: “At the same time there arose in Moscow, as result of secret Jewish propaganda, a religious movement, which is described as Jewish heresy. According to Russian chronicles, its founder was the learned Jew Sjaria (Zejarya), who, together with several fellow believers, emigrated from Kiev to the old Russian city of Novgorod. During the religious unrest then prevailing in Novgorod, the new sect of the Strigolniki (named after their founder Carp Strigolnik) had come into existence in this city, who announced the lifting of the Christian rites and did not recognise Christ as God. Zejarya approached various representatives of the orthodox clergy and was able to convert them to Judaism. The leaders of the rebels of Novgorod, the priests Denis and Alexei, went in 1490 to Moscow and there converted a great number of Greek-Orthodox believers. Acts 26:14 -18 Words in red are Our Lord Jesus Christ speaking to St. Paul (Saul). In verse 17 Our Lord Jesus Christ makes it absolutely clear that the people and the nations (the Jews that rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as Messiah and Saviour and all the gentile nations) are in darkness and part of the dominion of Satan – that is they belong to Satan and are d**ned unless they come to Christ and confess the Lord Jesus Christ unto Salvation. Innumerable verses in the Bible and the whole teaching of the Apostles and the complete consensus of the Church Fathers have always taught this. It is the absolute truth.
Throughout the Bible and especially the book of the Revelation and the epistles of 1John and 2John and 2Thessalonians and Matthew 24 and Mark 13 and Luke 21 there is told of the arising of the great Apostasy from God and His Christ and the short and evil establishment of the evil reign of the Antichrist. To resist this even unto death is what the saints will do. The apostates will go to hell with their master who is Satan. The below is from Elizabeth Dilling on the subject of the Antichrist. This time now – this life, is the dividing of the flock of Christ’s sheep from the goats. It is later that Our Lord Jesus Christ will raise all men and pronounce the eternal judgment.

XIV. PROPHECY AND THE DEVELOPING ANTI-CHRIST WORLD GOVERNMENT
Chapter Summary
[page 91] To casual Christians, the logical evolution of Christianity should mean that things would get better and better with everyone living in a happy and trouble-free world. To them, present world events are a puzzle. However, this comfortable view ignores Holy Scripture and its Biblical prophecies, most of which have been completely fulfilled already. These prophecies remaining to be carried out, however, envision an anti-Christ world government, with world turmoil, suffering, slavery, and woe never before experienced in all of history. But, at the end Christ is the victor and the Satanic forces will be completely destroyed.
The driving force of this growing world anti-Christ force is Babylonian Talmudism, or so-called Judaism, and its adherents and followers.
The Anti-Christ
The Pharisee “synagogue of Satan” will have a world head as foretold by “Daniel the prophet.” (Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14; Dan. 7:25; 8:23-5; 9:27; 11:31-39, 45; II Thes. 2:1-9)
In this last Biblical reference, wherein Paul is telling us that the anti-Christ must come and be demolished before Christ’s Reign here on earth, the anti-Christ is described as “the son of perdition, Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God … so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (II Thes. 2:3-4)
Indeed, the Talmud holds up the Rabbis, anti-Christian forerunners of the anti-Christ, as above all the Prophets, and even able to “create” a calf and eat it! (See Exhibit 78) “Rabbah Created a Man” is the claim of the Talmud. (See Sanhedrin 65b, Exhibit 72)
The myth that the Rabbis created Golem, or zombie men they could make do their bidding, is cherished and repeated in each century as Baal Shem Jewish doctrine.
Take Matthew 24 or Mark 13 in which Christ foretells the present age. Luke 21 is also a report of His Olivet discourse. The wars of nation against nation begin the final “sorrows.” (Matt. 24:7-8) The persecution of Christians “in all nations” follows. Then comes the Falling Away or apostacy of Christians, which Paul describes as the sign of the finish (II Thes. 2) and this is also noted by Christ in the verse 12 of Matthew, Chapter 24. Then is the “sign” of the clean-up when “the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet [shall] stand in the holy place.”
The Jerusalem Temple Rebuilding
The holy place always refers to the Jerusalem Temple. But there has been no Temple for an anti-Christ to stand in since, as Christ foretold at the very beginning of His discourse (Matt. 24:2), the Temple would be left without one stone upon another,” not “thrown down.” Titus dragged a plow over Jerusalem in 70 A.D.
In 1958, however, a new “Hechal” (temple) Shlomo on the highest hill in Jerusalem was dedicated. Two of the three million dollars cost was donated by a British chain store operator, Isaac Wolfson (National Jewish Post, 5/16/58, etc.). The building of this temple had been pledged by a delegation from 550 Orthodox synagogues in the U.S.A. which visited Israel (London Jewish Chronicle, 4/2/54). It is called a “world center of Judaism.” Rabbis of the whole world are expected to receive their orders from this Temple establishment.
Perhaps this very temple will be the future place where the “abomination of desolation” foretold by Daniel (Chapter 11:31) is to take place.
Now Comes the United Nations
There has been no one world power since the Capitol of the Eastern Roman empire, Constantinople, fell to the Turks in 1453, a thousand years after Rome fell to Attila the Hun, in 453. Now the machinery for a seventh anti-God world government has been set up by the Babylonian Talmudists in the form of the United Nations.
The American Jewish Year Books, put out yearly by the world czars of money, industrial and political power, encompassing the Rothschilds, Lazard Freres, Lehmans, Kuhn Loebs, international bankers, in short, by the American Jewish Committee, have chronicled each and every step in their accomplishment, the creation of this vehicle for world power. And this, following less than thirty years after the Red take-over of Christian Russia, was financed by Kuhn, Loeb & Co., and other Jewish banking houses, as is detailed elsewhere herein.
The United Nations of over a hundred nations centered in New York City, is a Godless, prayerless assemblage. Its only religious emblem, in Babylonian style, is the nude, lewd statue of the sex-god Zeus, counterpart of Tammuz, Adonis and others, in ancient times. He stands, unspeakably modeled, arms outstretched, commanding the great entrance hall of the U.N.
When the Greeks conquered the world they spread the propaganda that their sex-god Zeus, who had according to legend, raped his mother and his sister, was also the progenitor and unifier of all the sex-gods of the Greek world. For the United Nations, Zeus can only represent “unity” in [page 92] abomination and lust.
The Developing “Babylonian” World Government
In the Bible, the very word Babylon is used to symbolize everything foul and pagan. It is agreed by various commentaries that the curses upon Babylon in Isaiah 13, 14 and Jeremiah 50, 51 refer not merely to the Babylonian empire of ancient times but to the future world government to end this age.
Christ in his Revelation from the Spirit to John, about 96 A.D., said: “There are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is [in power] and the other is not yet come … and goeth into perdition.” (Rev. 17:10) Five world kingdoms had then come and gone: Egypt, Assyria, Babylonia, Medo-Persia, Greece. Rome was then in power over the whole known world. Christ describes the coming world government as red, or scarlet colored, as a behind-the-scenes or “mystery” power, and calls it “Babylon The Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth … drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.” Its scope is likened to a beast with ten horns, which are ten kings that will reign very briefly — “one hour.” The harlot “reigneth over the kings of the earth.” (Rev. 17) For the complete control of trade and industry by “her merchants,” read Revelation 18:11.
The excoriations against Babylon by Jesus Christ from the Spirit about 96 A.D., over 600 years after the fall of actual Babylon, had, necessarily, to refer to a future World Government controlled by a sleeper-like Babylonian minded anti-God, anti-Christ regime to come, not a long-gone Babylonian Empire.
The ten component parts of this World Government which make war on the “Lamb,” as chronicled in Revelation 17:12-14, as well as the prophecy of the satanic anti-Christ, correspond with the prophecy of Daniel the Prophet on the same ten-king anti-God power (Daniel 7:24). But its complete defeat is also foretold in both places.
See how similarly Jeremiah and Christ have described the final events. Jeremiah ends his long denunciation in Chapter 51 thus:
“And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates: And thou shalt say, thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her … . Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.” (Jer. 51:63-4)
And Christ, after prophesying the fall of the Red, anti-Christ Babylonian world power run by rich men, says:
“And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all … thy merchants were the great men of the earth: for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”
Then the last verse, on the Babylonian Harlot:
“And in her were found the blood of Prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” (Rev. 18:24)
In Matthew 23, when Christ was facing the Pharisees eye to eye and calling them “Hypocrites!,” again and again, he said:
“… Ye are the children of them which killed the Prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents … how can ye escape the d**nation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify … and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of Abel (Matt. 23:31-35)
Thus did Christ link the Pharisees of His time with the rulers of the Babylonian Red World Power to come and to be sunken like a stone in deep water.
Isaiah, in 712 B.C., foretold the fall of the Babylonian world power, still in the future, in the same words as Christ did at the end of the first century. The Babylonian wicked woman directress of it is to fall “for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.” (Isa. 47:9; Rev. 18:7)
Moses commanded: “There shall not be found among you any one … that useth divination, or an observer of times [astrology] or an enchanter of a witch.” (Deuteronomy 18:10) And those black arts are denounced throughout Scripture. They may evoke power, but only cursed power.
Isaiah on the Anti-Christ
For a perfect description of the anti-Christ we have Isaiah’s picture in Isaiah 14:12-17. This is a description of the fall of the Babylonian World Power at end of this age, the end of the seventh world government we now see coming about.
“How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cast down to the ground which did weaken the nations! For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation … I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit … “They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee … saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms? That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?’’
That last reminds one of the vast concentration camps housing millions of innocent people under Communism.
Isaiah continues:
“Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. For I will rise up against them, saith the Lord of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name and remnant and son, and nephew, saith the Lord (Isa. 14:12-21)
No wonder the Babylonian Talmudists call this fictitious!
That this did not apply to the transfer of the ancient Babylonian kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar to Cyrus, the [page 93] Medo-Persian, which took place in 536 B.C., is shown by the fact that Cyrus did not destroy a stone of the great capitol of Babylon, making its gorgeous palace his winter residence.
The same prophecies as to future occurrences were made not only by Jeremiah and Daniel, but by Christ in His Revelation (96 A. D.) where the fall of the then non-existent World government of Babylon, linked to the Pharisees, climaxes in the 17th and 18th chapters. (See Daniel 11:45; Rev. 17:10-11; II Thes. 2:3-4) Compare Jeremiah 51:7-8 with the still-future Revelation of Christ in the first century: Rev. 17:3-5, calling the 7th World Government, directed by a Babylonian “sleeper,” also its fall, like a stone: Jer. 51:63-4 and Rev. 18:21).
That fall was still future when Christ (96 A.D.) foretold its fall in Revelations 17: it “goeth into perdition” (verse 11). The sixth or Roman world government was then in power. Compare the prophecy of the fall of this demon-employing power in Jeremiah 51: “And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling place for dragons … Babylon hath been a golden cup … that made all the earth drunken … therefore the nations are mad.” (Jer. 51:37, 7 )
Such worldwide events await us.
And in Christ’s Revelation of this future fall: “the great sleeper … was arrayed in purple and scarlet color … having a golden cup in her hand … . And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth.” (Rev. 17:1-5)
The Jewish “Messianic” Reign
Although some Jews look for an individual War Lord who will help place Jewry on the throne of the World, the actual view of Judaism is that the Jewish people themselves comprise the Messiah, and their right is to be collectively the “Messianic” reign (actually foretold for Christ, not the Jews, in the Bible). The tribulation foretold to precede the reign of Christ, in which Satanism strives to subdue the world, is scoffed at by the Talmud and called “fictitious.” Babylonian power will not fall, they say. Babylon will be immune from suffering, according to Talmudism, despite the Biblical prophecies to the contrary: “We have a tradition that Babel (Babylon) will not witness the sufferings that will precede the coming of the Messiah.” After “sufferings” in the foregoing is the note that the sufferings “frequent in modern Christian books is fictitious …” (Talmud, Kethuboth IIIa - Exhibit 147)
Any tribulation will be but the throes of “mother Zion” which is in labor to bring forth “the messiah — without metaphor, the Jewish people.” (Kethuboth IIIa, same Exhibit) In other words to call the Jewish people the Messiah is no metaphor, they are literally just that; they are the Messiah, says the Talmud.
A Talmud passage in Sanhedrin 98b (Exhibit 100) records exulting words of the Pharisee rabbis: “The Jews are destined to eat their fill in the days of Messiah.” A footnote (same Exhibit) states that “the Israelites, having fallen, were replaced in power by the Gentiles — but on their recovery, it will be difficult to remove the Gentiles from their position without inflicting much suffering.” And (same Exhibit):
“The years of plenty which the Messiah will usher in will be enjoyed by the Israelites.”
Bear in mind, always, that the pagan Babylonian Talmudists have stolen the Biblical names for the followers of the Holy One of Israel (Christ), who believe in Him and in the Israel prophets who foretold Him. Biblically, as noted elsewhere herein, the genealogically nondescript, self-styled “Jews” are actually “Gentiles,” and Christians are, spirtually, “Israel.”
The congregation of Israel was never a racial entity, any more than Catholicism or Protestantism. The Bible testifies to that. All blessings promised Christians are attempted to be stolen by the Talmudists. However, those who love and try to follow the “Holy One of Israel,” Christ, are the true congregation of Israel,” into which anyone of right spirit may enter. (Isa. 56:1-7; Gal. 3:28-9, etc.)
Many sincere Christians, ignorant of the facts, believe present-day Jews to be “people of the Book” returning as “chosen of God” to their Israel homeland. This is totally false. In fact, the whole theory that God’s Chosen People return to Palestine before the reign of the Messiah is unsupported by a line in the New Testament, which foretells only that the Anti-Christ forces will be centered in and defeated in Palestine before His Coming. They are there now.
More About the Jewish “Messianic” Era
A typical Talmud coverup passage reads:
“A Min [Christian] said to Rabbi Abbahu, ‘When will the Messiah come?’ he replied, ‘When darkness covers those people’ — Alluding to the questioner and his companions — ‘You curse me,’ he exclaimed.”
Concerning the “darkness”:
“The thingy said to the bat. ‘I look forward to the light, because I have sight; but of what use is the light to thee?’”
And all this is explained:
“Thus Israel should hope for redemption, because it will be a day of light to them, but why should the Gentiles, seeing that for them it will be a day of darkness?” (Exhibit 101)
The Talmud outlines the place to be given the non-Pharisees (called “Canaanites”) in this “Messianic” world of the future. Those Jews buried in Israel will be “resurrected” and the non-Pharisees will have their place as “as the people that are like an ass — slaves who are considered property of the master.” A Biblical verse about Abraham going up to pray and telling his young men to “Abide ye here with the ass,” and he would return to them (Gen. 22:5) is dragged in for the purpose of saying that the correct interpretation of this verse is that non-Jews are “people that are like an ass — slaves who are considered the property of the master.” (See Exhibit 48)
Chad Gadyah
That Passover song, Chad Gadyah (the “Only Kid”) heralds the day, after one nation has devoured another (in accordance with Daniel’s prophecies: (Dan. 7:23, etc.). when only the Talmudist or self-styled “Israel” is left. It ends: “The most Holy — blessed be He — destroyed the angel [page 94] of death that slew the slaughterer that killed the ox that drank the water that quenched the fire, that burned the stick that beat the dog that bit the cat that ate the kid which my father bought for two zuzim.” Chad Gadyah is “The Only Kid,” namely, the Talmudists.
The Jewish Encyclopedia is more veiled about its true meaning than is a book by Rabbi Morris S. Lazaron (Block Publishing Co., “The Jewish Book Concern,” 1928) called: Ask the Rabbi — 2,000 Questions and Answers About the Jew.
One question (on page 23, answered on page 141) is: “What is the sequence in the song, ‘The Only Kid’ supposed to symbolize?
“Answers: The rise and fall of great nations, each of whom destroys another until only Israel is left.”
And this exactly matches Daniel’s prophetic description of the seventh world government, the fourth to come after Nebuchadnezzar’s, namely, Medo-Persian, Greek, Roman, and Red: “The fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.” (Daniel 7:23).
Babylon and Israel
Babylon and its spiritual head, Israel, is the future place of messianic world rule envisioned by Jews. Jews have actually gone to die in Israel to save themselves the pain of “rolling through cavities” to get to Israel when their rule comes.
However, Pharisaic “brotherhood” in atheistic Communism, in a World having no nationalism except Pharisaism, is built on Satan’s, not God’s plan. The final world-despot, anti-Christ, will fall. As the Prophet Micah (710 B.C.) foretold of the future kingdom of Christ on earth: “they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree: and none shall make him afraid.” (Micah 4:4) No more prison-like collectives, no more killing, slavery and suffering, as is already the case in Talmudist-dominated Communist countries.
Christ’s Identification Marks
That we are in the seventh, the Red, the anti-Christ world government is clear. Christ in His Revelation foretold the rationing feature of its totalitarianism. (Rev. 13:16-17) He said that the number of the anti-Christ’s name would add up to 666. Gematria is a code system of Pharisaism which is in use today as in Christ’s time. The scale of letter values is printed in Cabalistic works.
The anti-Christ World Dictator to come will let no man “buy or sell, save he that has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Rev. 13:18) In war-time and in the Iron Curtain countries, dictatorship by rationing is already practiced, and thus foreshadows the above.
Christ calls this world government “scarlet colored,” or red, as we say. “Israel” is a home of the Red Flag. Articles in the Jewish press have deplored the flamboyant way the Red Flag is flown on red May Day. No wonder. The ruling party, Mapai, is a section of the Second International of Marxist red parties. Its official songs (printed in my Roosevelt Red Record and Its Background, as reproduced from the Socialist song sheet) include “The Red Flag, and the Soviet International,” with its anti-Christ words:
“We want no condescending saviors to judge us from a judgment hall. “We workers ask not for their favors; let us consult for all! “Tis the final conflict, let each stand in his place, the International Soviet [or Party] shall be the human race.”
This is sung with upraised clenched fist.
The Israel Mapam is a party Marxist like Mapai and even more pro-Soviet and pro-Russian. The other parties are Marxian splinter parties.
The great Histadrut, which received millions of dollars from American unions, etc., is run on Soviet lines. Industries, banks, buslines, collective farms, are owned in Soviet socialist fashion. One Jewish writer described the Israeli collective farms, the “kibbutzim,” as more Soviet than Russian ones, called “kolhozes.”
That “Jewish Messianic feeling” has engendered false confidence. The fall of this Babylonian Talmudic world power now building with increasing rapidity, is foretold not only by Christ. Jeremiah 51, Isaiah 13 and 14, are samples of Old Testament prophecy of the same fate, which is complete annihilation.
Daniel said the anti-Christ would magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods … in his estate shall he honor the god of forces … yet he shall come to his end and none shall help him.” (Daniel 11:36, 38, 45)
In the meantime, we must do our part. The red Babylonian seventh world government will come down, Christ said, “by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony” who “loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11) For “ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)
Those in these times “that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits,” said Daniel and shall instruct many and “shine as the stars forever.” (Daniel 11:32-3; 12:2)
May you be prepared to help overcome by the word of your testimony the onslaught we now see of world Satanic forces and “shine as the stars forever.”

Elsewhere, it is true that Our Lord speaks of 100 or 60 or 30 fold, but those who would lead need to follow what Our Lord said above and the examples of the early Church below. Let us notice that doctrine was of extreme importance to the early saints. There was no replacement for correct belief.

Communism, spawned from this same revolutionary stream of thought, seeks to banish Christianity for the purpose of causing it to vanish from the face of the earth, without even the slightest trace remaining. The destructive fury of this satanic striving, which brings before the eyes of the world the most terrible pictures of terror and destruction which are possible to imagine, can only be based on the essence of Nihilism and the most evil, hate-filled rejection of everything hitherto existing. For otherwise, one would not be able to understand the indescribable insanity of its criminal acts and the spirit of destruction, of annihilation, of insult, of contradiction and of resistance by its leading personalities against everything, which represents fundamental features not only of Catholicism but of religion in general.
